The episode opens with Matt on a table with various wires connected to his head measuring the frequency of his brainwaves. When his blurry vision goes away we see a very familiar person, Claire’s dad. Matt asks if he is in a hospital, but eventually finds out that he is not. It turns out that he was drugged, and that is why he collapsed. Claire’s dad reveals that he does not work for an organisation that has initials. But this does not mean he doesn’t work for an organisation. The mysterious man comes in. I believe he has abilities that amongst others allows him to block out Matt’s mind reading attempts, we are not sure of all his powers quite yet. He is also special, as Claire’s dad says. The mysterious man is told to ‘go deep, and clean him out.’ We do not know what he then does to Matt, but I am pretty sure it causes him great pain.
Next we are with Hiro and Ando, who are in Las Vegas. He asks Ando how to say ‘You are going to die in 5 weeks, and then New York will explode,’ in English. Ando says he will teach him how to say it phonetically, because as we know, Ando speaks English. Ando says, ‘i’m feeling lucky,’ as he walks into a casino. Hiro, rather reluctantly follows, passing Niki and Micah on the way in.
Mr Linderman wishes Niki to do something. Nathan Petrelli is coming in to borrow some money, and Linderman wishes for some ‘insurance.’ Niki says that she is not a whore. The woman replies, ‘I think we have established who you are.’
We then come to Claire, who is looking pretty dead on an autopsy table. A tree branch is pulled out of her neck, and then a phone rings. The woman carrying out the post mortem goes to pick up the phone, and as she is just out of the way, Claire wakes up. She is looking pretty shocked, she puts her cut open chest back together and slips on a dressing gown. She manages to sneak out as the woman comes back in.
Next we are with Nathan Petrelli. He is told by Dr Suresh that he might be targeted by Sylar. Nathan believes that Suresh is insane and gets in a car.
We are then at Peter Petrelli’s house, he is in bed with Simone Deveaux. They talk and then there is a ring on the bell. It’s Nathan, he thinks that Peter got Suresh to talk to Nathan. They both believe that they are talking about Chandra Suresh.
Next we are with Claire again, her dad asks her if she has been out all night. She says she has, and has been with the quarterback. It’s better than telling him she was dead I suppose! He says that he is disappointed with her and she would get punished. She sits on the stairs and cries.
Mohinder Suresh is standing at a map, putting a picture up. Eden comes in with a package, saying it came for him when he was out. He opens it and finds that it is his fathers ashes. He then goes to pack up his things, he wants to go back home to Madras and scatter his fathers ashes. Then, there is a knock at the door. We hear a voice that says, ‘i’m looking for Chandra Suresh.’ The guys at the Petrelli Campaign gave him the address. It is Peter. Mohinder opens the door. Peter says to Mohinder that he believes that he is one of the people Chandra was looking for.
Back at the casino, Ando has bet their last dollar on black 27. Hiro doesn’t like this, so he stops time and puts the ball bearing on black 27, and Ando wins. Ando, believing he won the money on pure luck, goes to bet some more, but Hiro says he stopped time and did it. He says he will not do it again because it’s cheating. Ando says, ‘is Peter Parker cheating when he sells pictures of Spider-Man?’ Hiro says no, and this persuades him to keep using his power.
We are back with Niki, and Micah reveals that he knows what Niki used to do in the garage.
Next we are with Mohinder and Eden, and they are talking about Peter and who he could be. Mohinder and Peter are talking, and we find that Peter can ‘only do things, when he is around other people who can do things.’ They go to see Isaac, as Nathan is in Vegas.
At Isaac’s, he is talking to Simone about his paintings. He shows her a picture that he drew of her, the one where she is in the rain kissing Peter. She thinks that he followed her, but he says that he painted that picture 7 weeks ago, before he met Peter.
Peter doesn’t manage to get Isaac to open her door, he is high, painting a picture of Claire, who looks like she is in distress. Hiro gets thrown out of the casino, and caught up by a man who they won money off. Ando tells him that Hiro can take them all out. One of the men punches Hiro and knocks him out. Nathan is talking to Niki. She leaves and is grabbed in the lift. The man wants her to do what she was told to do, and he threatens her son. She suddenly takes on her other persona, and beats the man. She threatens to kill him if he threatens her son ever again. She then goes back to finish the job with Nathan.
Next we see Peter on the train with Mohinder. Mohinder is talking and then all of a sudden everything slows down and comes to a stop. Seems the work of Hiro, but Peter isn’t affected.
Claire asks for a lift off of the quarterback. She drives, and is going very fast. She has an arguement with him. She drives into a wall at around 70-80 mph, the quarterback is either seriously hurt or dead.
Back with Peter, he is still on the subway train. There is a bang on the roof, someone is on there. All of a sudden we see a ninja like japanese man, with a samurai sword. He has a strong american accent. Peter asks, ‘how is this happening?’ The man replies, ‘My name is Hiro Nakamura, I am from the future. I have a message for you.

This episode was a pretty good one, the ending was very good with Hiro from the future. He also says that Peter looks different without his scar. I would give it an 8, as we are yet to see the really great parts, with all the heroes together with their powers. It also seems that Peter’s power is that he can take on the powers of other people.
